What is the recommended daily dose of fresh Spirulina?
The recommended daily dose for fresh frozen Spirulina for adults is 20 grams. You can eat up to 5 servings of 100 grams a day. Why 100 grams? Because of the Spirulina’s high Iron content, every 20 grams has about a recommended Dietary Allowance of Iron. Still, our recommendation is to consume it in the morning or in the middle of the day to benefit from increased alertness and vitality.
Athletes can also consume 30-40 grams, preferably immediately after the exercise. Spirulina is especially recommended for seniors due to its rich nutritional composition and complete absorption into the blood.
