*Not sure about hair growth reduction yet (just started using)
*5+ stars for anti-inflammatory and skin-softening properties on my VERY temperamental face
Update:
Over the course of a few days, this stuff has pulled up
-multiple ingrown hairs
-nearly all of my KP bumps (whiteheads)
-a resident pimple that has been around so long he had a name (RIP Fred)
-(possibly) some glitter circa 1999
…All without causing my skin to break out or eliciting the swift vengeance of my perioral dermatitis.
*Note: If you have any amount of skin barrier that you’d like to preserve, put an emphasis on “gentle” when you massage this stuff in. (If, however, you’re looking to aggressively rub away years of regrettable decisions and poorly tolerated skin-care routines in 3-5 days, this stuff has given me WAY better results than a $372 chemical peel… without the peeling or allergic reaction).

The long story:
I’ve had KP on my face since approximately birth. I also have “dry, irritated” skin that reacts to just about every available product as though I set my face on fire (Vaseline?… smoldering embers. Cetaphil?… arson attempt. Cereve?… full-fledged dumpster-fire).
I recently got married (June) and figured the wedding was a great excuse to finally get my skin-care routine nailed down. After dropping about $7k on dermatologists (plural) over the span of a year, my results were:
-severe hyperpigmentation from 6 months of attempted “acclimation” to 0.1% adapalene (diluted!)
-chemical burns from the cream I was given to help calm my baseline inflammation
-additional chemical burns from the chemical peel I received in attempt to decrease aforementioned hyperpigmentation and scarring
-KP bumps that are now so deep I’m fairly certain they’re rooted to my soul
(I.e. When I say my skin puts up a violent protest in the face of all products, I mean *all* products)
I ordered this Cyperus Rotudus oil as a last-ditch attempt to salvage my skin. My current thinking is that many of my bumps are due to ingrown peach-fuzz that is too weak to push through my dry, angry skin (…ingrown hairs that were likely caused by the nair I use fairly regularly in attempt to remove said peach-fuzz-forest and attributed KP bumps).
I laughed when I read this product’s bold claim to be anti-inflammatory, and prepared my standard hellfire salvation ointments to be used with urgency upon first application.
Okay… When I say that I can’t remember the last time something soothed my skin, we’re talking DECADES. I put this stuff on post-nair and it seemed to magically absorb 30+ years of redness the moment it touched my face. Not only that, but as I gently massaged it in, it softened bumps that had been on my skin so long I’d assumed they were chicken-pox scars (from 1989…) My 43 year-old face feels like a well-hydrated baby’s butt right now, probably for the first time since my butt was actually a baby.
So: does this stuff help decrease hair growth? No idea. Don’t care… Unless I wake up tomorrow with my eyes swollen shut, I will be keeping it in my (anti) arsenal indefinitely for its soothing and softening properties alone.

I purchased this to combat hormonal hair growth on my chin, which is SUPER annoying! I used to just pluck the few hairs but it they’d be back in a day or two. Since using this, daily, not a single annoying hair! WOW! I wasn’t sure if it was going to help and now I’m mad I didn’t get more bottles lol. I’ll be using on my armpits, legs and bikini too!
I just put a couple drops on my fingertips and rub it in the desired areas and it’s effective! It leaves my skin feeling just as soft and moisturized, use just as my normal face routine. Smells ok, not sweet. Hoping this bottle lasts a good length of time. Quality product thus far.

Too soon to tell but it smells amazing. And it might be working already. It works on big pores too- i can see that.

This really works! I was skeptical because I have tried so many other products but this is working beyond my expectations. I have dealt with plucking for years, this stuff works great! Smells good to me and leaves my face smooth. I love it!

I was skeptical at first of this oil, but I must say it has slowed the hair growth that we all have seen and heard of. You just have to stick with it. The packaging came in great condition, and the size for the amount I paid for was incredible. A little goes a long way so this bottle will last you.

I have asthma, this stuff stinks. The perfume smell is too strong and burned my skin at first. I do have sensitive skin. The oil feels nice later. But the smell is too much. My nose is very sensitive as well as my skin. I can actually taste it. Trying to stop facial hair. I don't know if that works yet or not. Don't know if I can survive 2 weeks of this. I'll update to let you know if it actually stops hair growth. So far I'm not happy with this purchase.

When I researched this oil, I read that it may take up to 6 months to see a difference in hair growth. Well, it smells good and feels good, so I slather it on every morning and evening and hope for the best. I can actually see a slight difference, particularly in the coarseness of the hair on both my face and armpits. I've had to do less hair removal after only about 6 weeks. I will stay the course and bought another bottle just so I don't run out! On a positive note, a little goes a long way, one stopper covers my face, pits, and calves! I may update the review in 5 months time.

I discovered this type of oil on social media for a lot more money. I searched Amazon and found this one. So far I definitely see a lessening difference in unwanted facial hair. I hope it keeps working until I don’t need to use it anymore! I definitely recommend trying this product.
